David Plumb was appointed as Director of Telefónica Digital UK and joined the main board of Telefonica UK in 2013. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Tesco Mobile board and the Weve board.
Prior to this he was General Manager of O2 Enterprise, where he had direct responsibility for the P&L and the end-to-end Enterprise business. During this time he developed O2’s Joined up business proposition and launched O2 Unify.
Previously he ran the SMB and Partner businesses, where he took O2 to number 1 in the UK in the SMB segment.
Before joining O2, David spent 12 years working in Information Communication and Technology (ICT) at Cable & Wireless Global, and Cramer Systems in sales and operations leadership roles.
Away from work David has two small children and hobbies including aerobatics, martial arts and charity work. He is a past Chairman of the Birmingham and Stratford Round Tables.
