Mehdi Javadi is a Smart City Expert, Design Thinker, UX Designer and Futurist with a PhD in Urban & Regional Planning from TU Berlin and Design Thinking at HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam. He is a serial Startupper who initiated KottiBuch (smart & innovative Education) in 2013, Smart City Wire in 2014, Business Model Body (applying Business Model to future bodies) in 2016 and White Mirror project (Service Designing for Future City) in 2016. In Smart City Wire, he offers innovation workshops, online crowdstormings, and smart city newsfeeds, aiming to create and test prototypes and design methods to trigger ideas and feedback in SCW Berlin community (more than 800 members) and the public with the aim of creating and facilitating ideas, projects, and innovations for a human-centric, interdisciplinary and international approach to Smart City. He works and lives in Berlin where he is also actively consults companies, NGOs, universities and public institutions.
