Emma is the Head of Marketing and Insight for British Gas Connected Homes and the Hive brand.
Emma has a marketing background gained both as a Director in WPP and Omnicom agencies and as a Marketing Director in financial services, healthcare, music and digital entertainment.
At Ogilvy she developed the original ‘Magic is closer than you think’ brand advertising strategy for Disneyland Paris and at Red Cell she originated and launched the first ever flexible mortgage products for Bank of Scotland.
At Bupa she worked on the new global brand strategy as well as redefining the core consumer propositions to support market change and launching new revenue lines including cosmetic surgery and pay as you go private treatment.
At Ageas Insurance she established all the direct to consumer channels from scratch across the full media mix and launched eight new product lines.
Prior to joining British Gas, as part of Tesco Digital Entertainment at Blinkbox and MUZU.TV she established new marketing models leveraging digital music content to create consumer engagement, acquisition and loyalty.
