Ernest Wohnig is an internationally recognized cybersecurity executive having written, presented, and advised senior corporate leadership on cybersecurity issues in commercial and government for over 20 years. Ernest is currently advising senior leadership clients in Europe and authoring a coming cybersecurity book ‘The Cybersecurity Field Manual –  Future Proofing Your Cybersecurity Program’ and Podcast series exploring the current & future developments (Cloud, IoT, AI, neural lace, etc.) driving future cybersecurity. Previously, he served as the Senior Global Cybersecurity Advisor/ Cybersecurity Program Director for AES Corporation where he advised the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors on cybersecurity risk and liability across the global business; leading the coordination of cybersecurity activities across AES’ operations in 18 countries. Prior to AES, Ernest spent 14 years leading development and delivery of cyber security consulting services for both large and boutique global consulting firms. He oversaw programs and service solutions for C-suite clients in government, utilities, oil & gas firms, and commercial service firms. In the 90s, Ernest served as an Air Force Intelligence officer and then an Information Warfare advisor for the US Government.
