Practicing Crowd Management/Festival organisation as own entrepreneur until 2001 (Dynamo Open Air hardrockfestival, 100.000 visitors, Classical Concerts at the Philips Football Stadium, numerous other events and festivals)
Starting to work as a civil servant at the local government in 2001, specialist in risk-assessment, safety, crowd management, licencing events, supervision of events, teaming up with police, organisors of events, local government and colleagues. Approx 40 events every year, some of them with 80.000 spectators.
In 2014, on behalf of the municipality, founder and projectmanager of the Living Lab Stratumseind, a testsite for all kinds of sensing and influencing behaviour of people in the biggest pubstreet of The Netherlands. Developing new sensoralgoritms, privacy issues, system architecture, IoT principles etc.
